As a franchisor, we maintain close relationships with our stores, and we understand the needs of franchisees. Together, we have designed and implemented a number of initiatives to increase store profitability and to consolidate our relations with our customers. We also maintain cordial business relations with a large number of car dealers, vehicle fleet corporations, individuals, and insurance companies—relationships that contribute to the success of each of our franchisees.
The merging of glass operations with Ziebart business has created synergy by leveraging the complementary strengths of these niches in terms of product lines, geographical locations, task forces, technology platforms, marketing, and staff training. These initiatives have resulted in increased penetration in the Canadian market, which has led to the acquisition of new national accounts.
Over the several past years, efforts by the franchisor and franchisees were successful, and the group has won seven Maillon d’or awards from the Conseil québécois de la franchise. These prestigious awards are given to industry players that are considered to be the most outstanding during the year.
