Uniban Canada strives to create long-term working relationships with all its business partners. A franchisee will share our wealth of information of the industry, sales training, point of sales software, yearly visits to maintain training and service standards, participate in regional meetings, yearly dealer convention as well as having marketing and IT support. Choosing a location
Choosing a location may be seen as the first hurdle in starting your business. Uniban Canada offers support during this process. Our location specialist will help you find a prime location for your new franchise. He will review local demographic characteristics and help analyse properties on the market in order to select the best location available for your new business.
After a site has been approved, a Uniban representative will help in negotiating your lease with the goal of obtaining the best site with the best possible lease terms. A basic drawing of your future business center with a layout that maximizes production space while presenting a clean and inviting showroom environment will then be required.
Standards
Though you may believe you are in business for yourself, our franchisees realise that they represent an entire network across Canada. The strength of this network lays in the performance of every store, manager and employee. To insure that our high standards are respected and proper brand recognition is promoted, Uniban Canada provides you with a graphic standard guide which details everything from signage and show room decor to uniforms.
Training
Your existing business knowledge, customer service skills and dedication will serve you well during this adventure. However every business has their own success pattern and with over 30 years of experience, Uniban Canada will assist you on modifying the way you see business to assure success in our field. As your store is being developed, you will receive an in-depth training to educate you about every facet of operating your UniglassPlus/Ziebart or VitroPlus/Ziebart franchise. This includes technical skills, sales, advertising, business management, report analysis and in-store co-op experience at one of UniglassPlus/Ziebart or VitroPlus/Ziebart company-owned franchises. As time progresses, you will have access to in-store training for your employees and on line training exclusively developed by Uniban Canada to support their franchisees.
Regional marketing meetings
As a UniglassPlus/Ziebart or VitroPlus/Ziebart franchisee, you become part of the automotive aftermarket industry, so it's important to remain informed of the trends, methodologies and technologies that influence both your franchise and the industry as a whole. UniglassPlus/Ziebart or VitroPlus/Ziebart holds regular regional marketing meetings which will keep you up to date on new sales, marketing and management techniques. These local meetings are held in or near your store on a regular basis. You will receive information on promotional programs, sales training and product introductions. These meetings are also the source of a valuable exchange of information and expertise among you and your fellow dealers.
Partnership with insurance companies
Uniban Canada is committed on a daily basis with insurance companies and manages thousands of insurance claims every year. We currently own and operate an insurance call center for the insurance industry which directs glass repair and replacement to our franchised stores and have developed a Claims Management System available to our partners in the insurance industry. More, VitroPlus/Ziebart offers protection solutions against auto theft going hand in hand with our glass offering. We strive to maintain excellent relationships with insurance companies and will encourage every franchisee to create and maintain a successful and professional relationship with your local insurance brokers.
